Message	and you think that the engineers at the various connecting rod companies don't run every possible scenario through the works to ensure the rod they produce in conjunction with the bolt they choose is good enough? C'mon Brett. They run more analysis than you and I combined to find out information that will yield them the best bolt for the application. Most who upgrade bolts is done for a personal preference not out of need. That is why manufactures offer variants instead of mandating you to buy X bolt.
